Abstract
The publication concerns an analysis of the nich-grave no. 1089 discovered on the territory of Ust-Alma necropolis, it situated in the South-Western part of Crimean peninsula. The grave contained remains of two persons. According to the grave goods, the burial complex can be dated to the fi rst half of the 3rd century AD. Among grave goods there is a mirror with the relief decoration similar to the so-called «Sarmatian signs». It is the fi rst case of such a fi nd for the Ust-Alma necropolis, and it is rare for the Crimea in general. At the same time, mirrors decorated with various «Sarmatian signs» are found in different points of the North Pontic region, and the signs analogious to the Ust-Alma image are represented among those inscribed on the stone slabs from that territory.
