Abstract

The article is devoted to Kutik-Inshushinak, son of Shimbishhuk, in the Akkadian texts “Puzur-Inshushinak”). Previously, most researchers considered him a contemporary of the Akkadian king Sharkalisharri. He was originally the high priest of Susa, later became the governor of Elam. In the course of the military company, he conquered Kutium, Simashki, Huhunuri, Kimash, Humurti and other countries, after which the titles “the King of Awan” and “king of the four parts of the world” were added to the previous ones. One generation later in Elam, another Kutik-Inshushinak, the son of Shuela, was defeated by the founder of the Third dynasty of Ur, Ur-Nammu.
